Everything went like clockwork!

It was my lucky day when we found Appliances Direct. Our fridge freezer died and we desperately needed a replacement and Appliances Direct came to the rescue.
Two lovely young guys brought it to us two days later, exactly in the proposed time slot, cheerfully unwrapped it and took away the old one. We had an installer on hand and all was up and running in a couple of hours.

The delivery guys were great

The delivery guys were great! They arrived exactly on time, were very considerate and really did a great job. They installed the dishwasher speedily and without any issues. The machine itself has no external bumps or scratches and was very clean inside. Just finished a full cycle and the dishes are sparkling ✨️ As a returning customer I just want to say, thanks again Appliances Direct I am a very happy customer.

Would purchase from them again.

Easy to order, arrived quickly and an actual phone number with a real person (English) to speak to for a query I had. Great service and arrived well packed and undamaged. Reasonable price freezer which is nicer than I thought as we picked the cheapest. Hope it lasts a good while.

Efficient delivery

Price was great and love the product. Really easy ordering system and fast delivery. Very efficient delivery with 1 hour time slot given along with a security pin which for a high value item seems like a really good idea and worked be well

Could do better !!

Ordering is easy though not too happy that my delivery date was changed twice...then my order was delivered whilst I was away which meant I had to collect it from the Post Office ....needs to be a smoother delivery process.

after sales customer service

the washer was fine. the problem was that the cable that came out of the back of the washer was not long enough to reach my plug socket. I phoned customer services and spoke to a young lade who did not understand what i was on about. after putting me on hold 3 times and waiting for over 20 minutes she came back with the answer the cables are a standard length.

Ordered 50/50 fridge freezer

Ordered 50/50 fridge freezer. Very easy to order and make payment on-line. Delivery was arranged a few days ahead. Could order next day delivery but more expensive to do so and I was not in a hurry. Paid for recycling of my old unit. Received a 2 hour delivery slot the day before and a call from the driver to say they were 30 minutes away. Helpful delivery team. Received requisite phone call to ask about extended warranty cover which I did not want. Accepted my view and did not push, which was good. Overall a 5* performance from Appliance Direct.

Still waiting for my Patio Heater

Ordered a new patio heater for the weekend and it was due Friday 26th Apr, Friday morning had text from DPD saying it’s delayed but be delivered Saturday 27th. Saturday 27th had a text to say the same and I will get it Sunday instead. Now today has the same email again to say I will get it Monday which too be fair is not really any good for me as I had to have guests sit in the house on the weekend because I had no patio heater to keep people warm. Maybe Appliances Direct need to have a review on who they use as a courier

This company is very good it surprised me I ordered online and within half an hour I had a phone call confirming my order when it would be delivered how it would be delivered. I think this is a wonderful company and I will use it again and I have recommended it to people.

Faulty water valve

Good delivery procedure. Was called a few hours before the delivery to confirm. The washing machine water valve had been pushed through into the machine so I had to take the lid off and re- engage it. However for many that would have been a service callout. So only 4 stars. Excellent condition for a refurbished machine and so far it is working perfectly.

Paid extra for removal of old oven and…

Paid extra for removal of old oven and unpacking of new oven. Courier delivered but had no knowledge of removing my old oven and also didn't remove packaging of my new oven. I'm now left with a heavy old oven in a top floor flat. I did receive a verbal apology and a refund.

NDD9725DA washer dryer

Great communication from start to finish buying a washer dryer. Price was competitive and delivery options were good. Website could do with more details of product features as I've ended up with a product (NDD9725) that has less features than my 17 year old WDD960! Apart from that, great thanks!

Great place for quality goods

I’ve previously purchased from here and I have always been delighted with the goods and the service. As a matter of fact I have directed a number of friends this way too who have all made purchases. Shame I’m not on commission lol :)

Delivery drivers were excellent

Delivery drivers were excellent. Text message time window not so good.
First message text message said time window 7am to 10.16am, fine I thought. 2 mins later another text said my time window was 6.16am to 10.16.. With a call 30mins before. Not a customer friendly or acceptable start time as far as I was concerned and I wasn't going to be getting up at 5.30am in the morning for a delivery.
Luckily the drivers called 30 mins before and arrived just after 8.30am so all good in the end.
I suggest Appliances Direct need to sort out their delivery time text messages.
Happy with my purchase and speed of getting it from order to delivery.

Speedy Service

I managed to find the appliance I needed, which wasn't on any other site, on Appliances Direct!

I was astounded that they offered next day delivery and installation, the only downside was I didn't get my slot until the evening before, at which point I had no option to change it. The slot I was given was as 7am to 10.30am; not great for those of us who have to do the school run. ‘Luckily’ my son ended up being off sick, they turned up at 7.20am and were done by 8.40am.

The fitters were very polite, efficient and tidy. They explained what they were going to do and asked a few questions before they started, and gave me a quick run through of the functions once the dishwasher was installed to ensure I was comfortable before they left. They even hardwired the appliance despite not realising it was needed beforehand so I really cant rate them high enough, when we used another company for our washing machine they flat out refused and took the appliance away.

Will definitely use Appliances Direct again, just lost one star for not being able to choose/amend the time slot.

After ordering my microwave which is excellent and a great price, they actually rang me the next day to confirm my order and told me when I would get it.
I got a text on the day it was arriving with the name of the driver. And the exact time. Exceptional service.
