Ordered built in microwave on the Wednesday lunchtime,got a phone call on Thursday from the team telling me it was in the hands of DPD and my microwave was delivered and installed by Friday teatime.

A good range of products at a good price. Very easy to order and delivery was quick. The items arrived within the time slot allocated. It was great to have a phone call half an hour before delivery. The delivery gents were very helpful and kind. Bringing the items into the kitchen and taking away the old white goods. We have bought a lot of items from Appliances Direct from TVs and Computers to cookers and washing machines, for ourselves and our daughter. We would definitely recommend this company and will definitely return to buy in the future.

I purchased an outdoor kitchen nearly 3 weeks ago and we are still waiting to use it. Serval parts were delivered damaged. The company offered me £70 to keep the damaged goods which considering the kitchen was over £700 was insulting. Poor customer service. Waiting nearly 2 weeks for replacement parts and still not here. Was told today I won’t receive any kind of discount/compensation for my troubles.

Bought an aircon unit last Tuesday and requested a call for them to quote for installation although I didn’t need it as we have a very good friend who is qualified to do it and with no information on the legislation they insist on following (which I wasn’t able to find). Provided his certificate which wasn’t enough. Spoke to someone (eventually) and he received confirmation that the certificate along with proof he works for his employer would be sufficient. Provided that to be told it’s not acceptable. Now six days and multiple calls/emails after placing the order and paying for the item been forced to cancel the order and get a refund which will take up to another week. Absolute shambles of a company with left and right hands not knowing what the other is doing.

Terrible company. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
Order, paid by debit card. Booked a delivery date at time of order.
Received a phone call to advise of different day. I accepted new date.
I waited in all day, no phone call. Tried to call and gave up after 20 minutes on hold. My husband called the next day as I was then away with work. He got nowhere other than being told to call another number.
I Called customer services, waited 32 minutes for an answer. Told to ring another number. I said I wanted to cancel the order. Told money would be back in my account in 2-5 day. An absolute disgrace. Poor attitude from customer services. They really couldn't have given a dam. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Back to square one.

I am in the process of refitting my kitchen, and pretty much all my appliances have come from Appliance direct. They offer a great price, with top service. Ordering is easy and they keep you informed all teh way along. Mostly, everything goes as it should, but on one occasion there was an issue and this was also dealt with promptly and without any fuss. Exactly what you would want.
