5 star service all round

Just purchased a new barbecue, however on arrival the unit was slightly damaged and requred a new lid. Appliances direct pulled out all the stops and shipped a replacement which arrived the next day. Now fitted and fully operational. 5 star service, no quibbles and stress free.

Super fast delivery

Ordered my Coffee machine on Sunday afternoon and paid for standard delivery.
email confirmation soon after that the coffee machine had been dispatched and was due to be delivered by the middle of the week.
Coffee machine was delivered on Monday morning, not even 24hrs after ordering at the weekend!
Absolutely fantastic service!! thanks

What an absolute sham of a company

What an absolute sham of a company ! Lies from the start to the finish of my transaction , I will never use them again & I would advise anyone else not to either . They even sent fake pictures & a fake drivers name using DPD livery to say an item had been dropped off at a drop off point when it hadn’t & I have screenshot the pictures to prove it !

Outstanding customer service

I haven’t actually bought anything from them yet but I will be doing. Had an issue with a gas hob I ordered, nothing to do with the product, we still want it but a question re our electric wiring was raised and so didn’t know if could go ahead with new kitchen. I rang and got through very easily to John who cancelled the order straight away for me even though it was with the courier. Excellent service. Then has a phone call from Laura who was also lovely and really helped to advise me what to look for when I am ready to buy. I will be buying off Appliances Direct for sure, it was really wonderful customer service. Thank you and sorry for the hassle I caused your business with my late cancellation.

New tumble dryer

Found just what I needed and ordered online. Received a telephone call the next day to confirm the order details and delivery information. Received text and email with expected delivery slot day before and telephone call on the morning of delivery to let me know they were on their way. First class service.

The product (en-suite vanity unit)…

The product (en-suite vanity unit) arrived within specified ETA and delivery driver very courteous.
Upon inspection I found it to be of great quality considering the moderate price.
I would recommend this company and shall use again.

Good price and swift delivery

Good price and swift delivery - very pleased with the cooker. A nice idea to call the night before, but it was a bit too much of a pitch for the extra cover (which I generally don't take for products, but thought was in any case a bit expensive). Perhaps could have used the call to check we were aware that cookers now don't come with any fitting elements (which they did the last time we bought one) - because we weren't, so we had to go out and get some after the cooker arrived.

Next day delivery

Brought 2 items recently, so guessing this is for the integrated fridge freezer. Look online across several companies, the price was similar but this company did next day delivery while the closest other was 7 days. When you need it now 7 days is no good.

Excellent company

Great selection of goods. Communication was superb, and allocated a 4 hour delivery slot. Delivery guys called me when they were 15 minutes away and were polite and delivered the item into the house where i needed it.

Glorified drop shipper

Placed an order online, they took payment immediately. They emailed me to say the item will be delivered in 1 week. 1 month later I still have not received the item. They have no idea when they can deliver the item. Why take the money if you know you can't deliver. The customer service team were polite but useless.

Great buyer experience

The overall experience from searching products and finding all the relevant information to make a decision to buy. Really helpful to see the user manuals and installation information too. Product search and filter actually work well and product information accurate. Prices are very competitive, but not always the best. Oder to delivery was very fast, received both items in less than 24 hours.

It was easy to find what I wanted on…

It was easy to find what I wanted on the website and about half an hour or so after I placed my order I got a phone call from a lovely lady going through everything I had done, and explaining the procedures, etc. She then advised me on 'cover' for the appliance which I was happy to take up as it was less than half of what I would be paying with Domestic & General. Overall the whole experience was very good . Delivery was the very next day!! I had the delivery set up explained and that I could track it which I did and although the time of delivery fluctuated from 6.30 to 7.45 this wasn't a problem and the two chaps who delivered were so helpful and friendly, I just felt (as did my husband) that the whole experience was extremely good. Thank you to all concerned.

Definitely will recommend this 5-star company

My order was followed up by a call from the company checking that all the details given were correct and did I have any queries. I was sent a code to give to the delivery guy, thus ensuring genuine transactions. My order arrived much earlier than first expected and it was on a Sunday. I am delighted with both my purchase and the process from start to finish with this company. I will be recommending Appliances Direct to all my friends.

Ordered new tumble dryer after returning from 2 week holiday and old dryer had stopped working. Had call from AD to back up notification of delivery arrangements. Gave me some added advice when asked about it.Nice touch.

Our washing machine was advertised…

Our washing machine was advertised online as ‘Available for delivery in 2 working days’. God forbid we love in Scotland’s capital city, the item need to be passed from one company to the next. You call the number advised, and they tell you to call the Scottish sister company. They lie and tell you that they have been trying to contact you but they clearly have not. So here we are now 8 days in, with an installation date 18days after the item was ordered! I assumed it would be not be the 2 days but it is very inconvenient being 18nn

Happy first time customer

This is the first time I have bought from Appliance Direct. Ordering (large BBQ) was straight forward. Communication from Appliance Direct was very good and the item was delivered on the day that had been arranged. It came within the allocated time slot and the delivery driver called in advance to ensure that somebody was going to be in. All in all it was a good online shopping experience.
