Ordered 50/50 fridge freezer

Ordered 50/50 fridge freezer. Very easy to order and make payment on-line. Delivery was arranged a few days ahead. Could order next day delivery but more expensive to do so and I was not in a hurry. Paid for recycling of my old unit. Received a 2 hour delivery slot the day before and a call from the driver to say they were 30 minutes away. Helpful delivery team. Received requisite phone call to ask about extended warranty cover which I did not want. Accepted my view and did not push, which was good. Overall a 5* performance from Appliance Direct.

Excellent

Excellent. Quiet, effective, beautiful design. Easy to use, easy to empty. Great dehumidifier amazing how much water it collects.Very happy with the purchase. Looks sleek and modern. Has plenty different settings. Laundry option works amazing.

Everything was fantastic

Everything was fantastic. Fast delivery and I absolutely love my new American fridge freezer. Customer service was spot on as well give me all the advice I needed. He was a laugh, well spoken and funny. I’m really have I bought my fridge/freezer from this company. Hopefully we will do business again in the future. Thanks so much.

Get the ElectriQ washer

Got the ElectriQ integrated washer/dryer, and what a great little machine - dozens of wash/dry settings, and quiet too. Installed quickly and professionally. The only downside was the hard sell on the 'Freedom' insurance which I'm sure is good value but the small print suggests it doesn't actually kick in until the warranty expires.

studio ZWC1301 washing machine

Placed an order for a studio ZWC1301, which unfortunately had the delivery date pushed back. Rang to replace it with a refurbished model, which was done in 5 minutes and promptly delivered. Guys bought the machine upstairs, unpacked without leaving loads of polystyrene - a feat in itself, and took our old one away. Would never think I'd be glad to be able to do some washing. Very good service all round.

Hob was faulty on arrival

Hob was faulty on arrival. After unpacking and fitting hob refused to work. Qualified electrical engineer installed but found a fault with the hob and after testing concluded that the hob itself was faulty. Still awaiting a reply on my return from Appliances direct. I had an engineer waiting to install, I had to nip out and purchase one from Wickes instead. What a waste of time and money!

Arrived almost before I ordered it!

Very impressed with these guys. Ordered a wine cooler at 4pm and it arrived by 8am the following day. Delivery guys happily carried it up two flights of stairs and were careful and considerate. Good communication through out - almost too much. Only slight negative is that I would have liked the packaging taken away as part of the service rather than charged as an extra. Will definitely us again though.

The ordering process was easy

The ordering process was easy.
I had a phone call afterwards checking my order was what I wanted and checking delivery details. Very personal and I was thanked. I felt valued as a customer.
The one downside is that delivery is on top of the item price. In my case it was £15.00

Good informative service throughout.

Kept informed about delivery times and it was delivered exactly on time. Thought the payment of £15 to unpack the freezer was a bit much as it only consisted of lifting off the cardboard outer packing and a couple of other packing pieces.
Otherwise though very happy with the service including removal of the old appliance.
Did the guarantee on line which was simple enough and easy to follow instructions.

Ordered through AD after being let down by Amazon

We ordered through AD after being let down by Amazon. Purchased a lazy spa at 9 o’clock at night, arrived by 3pm the next day. This was after being told by Amazon it could take up to 7 days. The next day delivery fee through AD is expensive, but the item was actually cheaper than the competitor and so we still saved money. Would highly recommend AD to anyone!

Great Service

Ordered on line, got call next day to confirm items and delivery day. Received messages via text to provide updates. Delivered at correct time. Having kitchen refurb so not out of the box’s and fitted yet but very happy with service and would recommend.
Only negative was I paid extra for a delivery slot 10 -2pm and messages received stated between 8:11 - 12:11 although did did arrive just after 10am so slightly confusing.

Delivery guys were great

Delivery guys were great - 5* - but the website re purchase was incorrect and the old cooker could not be collected. However the refund for this was approved instantly upon being requested

Over £2k spent. Zero compromise

I spent over £2k on several items. The day after the order the company called me to sell insurance in case anything breaks before fitting. The order has been delayed several times. That was ok as we were running well behind on our kitchen fit-out – all items were placed carefully and safely and in our garage – with special attention to the most expensive and fragile item – the induction hob. When we opened that particular box 3 weeks later the glass was all broken. I explained everything to the staff over the phone – their response was company policy means you have to open it straight away and let them know. My mistake. However, why is there zero empathy here after the situation was explained? I’m pretty sure they’re not pernicious enough to pull a fast one but the lack of understanding, communication and 'we can’t lose out at any costs’ attitude is disgraceful when such an amount is being spent with them.

I cannot recommend Appliances Direct enough. Not only was the cooker I ordered £100 cheaper, the service was second to none. Super speedy delivery and the nicest and most polite delivery men ever. Thank you for such an amazing service!

Nice to deal with and an absolutely excellent product.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I paid a shocking £45 for Saturday delivery and it wasn't delivered until the next day, Sunday As of yet, I'm still waiting for my delivery cost to be reduced as a sign of good faith.
Then it'll certainly be 5.
