The delivery guys were great

The delivery guys were great! They arrived exactly on time, were very considerate and really did a great job. They installed the dishwasher speedily and without any issues. The machine itself has no external bumps or scratches and was very clean inside. Just finished a full cycle and the dishes are sparkling ✨️ As a returning customer I just want to say, thanks again Appliances Direct I am a very happy customer.

Ordered 50/50 fridge freezer

Ordered 50/50 fridge freezer. Very easy to order and make payment on-line. Delivery was arranged a few days ahead. Could order next day delivery but more expensive to do so and I was not in a hurry. Paid for recycling of my old unit. Received a 2 hour delivery slot the day before and a call from the driver to say they were 30 minutes away. Helpful delivery team. Received requisite phone call to ask about extended warranty cover which I did not want. Accepted my view and did not push, which was good. Overall a 5* performance from Appliance Direct.

Faulty water valve

Good delivery procedure. Was called a few hours before the delivery to confirm. The washing machine water valve had been pushed through into the machine so I had to take the lid off and re- engage it. However for many that would have been a service callout. So only 4 stars. Excellent condition for a refurbished machine and so far it is working perfectly.

NDD9725DA washer dryer

Great communication from start to finish buying a washer dryer. Price was competitive and delivery options were good. Website could do with more details of product features as I've ended up with a product (NDD9725) that has less features than my 17 year old WDD960! Apart from that, great thanks!

Ordering to delivery was swift and very efficient.

Ordering to delivery was swift and very efficient. I find the company’s communication system first class, keeping the customer informed every step of the way. If there is any problem it is quickly resolved. I will definitely buy from them again.

Great place for quality goods

Amazing Service

I ordered a new double oven on Monday afternoon and received a text saying it would arrive the following morning. True to their word, the new oven arrived at 7:05 AM on Tuesday, was installed and operational by 7:30 AM, allowing me to make my usual morning toast by 7:45 AM. Truly amazing service.

Had to be here for potentially 12 hours
Delivered in 8 hrs but had no idea
Very annoying
Turned out they had the wrong tel no ?
Strange because I already had message week before saying despatched

Delivery drivers were excellent

Delivery drivers were excellent. Text message time window not so good.
First message text message said time window 7am to 10.16am, fine I thought. 2 mins later another text said my time window was 6.16am to 10.16.. With a call 30mins before. Not a customer friendly or acceptable start time as far as I was concerned and I wasn't going to be getting up at 5.30am in the morning for a delivery.
Luckily the drivers called 30 mins before and arrived just after 8.30am so all good in the end.
I suggest Appliances Direct need to sort out their delivery time text messages.
Happy with my purchase and speed of getting it from order to delivery.

Everything was fantastic

Everything was fantastic. Fast delivery and I absolutely love my new American fridge freezer. Customer service was spot on as well give me all the advice I needed. He was a laugh, well spoken and funny. I’m really have I bought my fridge/freezer from this company. Hopefully we will do business again in the future. Thanks so much.

Get the ElectriQ washer

Got the ElectriQ integrated washer/dryer, and what a great little machine - dozens of wash/dry settings, and quiet too. Installed quickly and professionally. The only downside was the hard sell on the 'Freedom' insurance which I'm sure is good value but the small print suggests it doesn't actually kick in until the warranty expires.

Delivery Issues

I placed an order and paid extra for specific delivery date (25 April). Received message from courier on 25 April to say it would be delivered on 26 April - not happy as I had taken day off work and booked tradesman for 26th to fit.
Morning of 26th - text from courier advising problem in warehouse so cannot deliver and will contact me again with delivery date
Cannot get anyone at AD or the courier to respond to messages or answer phone - posted on here out of sheer despair!!

I would 100%recommend appliance direct.
After ordering my microwave which is excellent and a great price, they actually rang me the next day to confirm my order and told me when I would get it.
I got a text on the day it was arriving with the name of the driver. And the exact time. Exceptional service.

After sales terrible

After talking to an advisor we were advised that the item we wanted would fit out space, when delivered it was clear that it would not fit.
You arranged collection and We returned the item and then you charged us £20.
Why ? When we was given incorrect information at order stage

Go to company for household appliances

I will definitely use appliances direct again as the price was very competitive and also I had a question after I bought the products and this was answered with the phone being picked up after a couple of rings. Excellent service.

Great value, easy website and fab staff!

So, finally our old cooker decided that it wasn't going to cook anymore - so I started looking for a new one and fell in love with one... A quick search on the web found Appliances Direct had the best price so I decided to give them a try. Placed my order on Sunday morning. On Monday they sent me an email and gave me a ring to set up a time slot for delivery on Tuesday.

Tuesday came and, sure enough, bang on time within the 2 hour window, their 2 man team delivered and set up my new cooker. Delivery team were friendly, efficient and fantastic and I was up and away in 20 mins.

Later in the day, I received a courtesy call to make sure everything was done and dusted fine and also to explain the warranty and how to arrange service should anything ever go wrong - extremely friendly staff on the phone and no pushy sales tactics (which was very refreshing!)

Overall, a fantastic customer experience from the ordering process, to delivery, to the aftersales.

Definitely a company I would do business with again based on this experience.

Wow - a great experience

Very informative website and easy to find what I wanted including specifications dimensions etc. But what really impressed me was the follow up both by email, 2 phone calls, information from the carrier AND the goods arrived within 2 days.
