Excellent experience this company. Sold a Panasonic camera and an Osmo gimbal. Received and improved quote for the camera as it's condition was better than they expected. And received the amount quoted originally for the Gimbal. Received the money within a few hours of accepting the quote. So extremely happy and would use them again!

I have to admit, I was a little daunted trading in my precious photography gear for a newer model, I didn’t know where to start.
Previously I’d sold gear privately and been messed around on so
many occasions. But honestly, I needn’t have worried.
From start to finish it was a pleasure.
My experience was even crowned off with an upgrade on the trade in value of my kit.
This just confirmed why my gut chose MBP. I was dealing with an extremely professional & honest team of people.
I wouldn’t hesitate in dealing with MBP again.

I have used MPB for many years !

Trust is important to me and as a regular customer of MPB I trust them to provide a great service.

The ability to watch out for an older item and get notifie
d when it's available is an important feature if you want to use and update older camera's.

I use the Nikon 1 System so having notifications based on these are great although on this purchase I needed something from Leica, saving a considerable amount over buying from Leica directly.

Would I use MPB to buy and sell again, YES a very definitive YES from my side.

I feel the company is honest

I feel the company is honest, when I buy, the product is as advertised and well packaged to protect it, when I sell, they agree with my rating, assign a fair value, and pay with direct transfer into my account. I had one occasion when I bought a product that I had to return. The product was an expensive long lens, it worked perfectly as advertised, I found that I couldn’t properly control it so I returned it for a full rebate and no hassle.

Literally the only place worth buying your gear from..

This is the 2nd time using MPB to buy gear.

Always reliable and always accurate with their descriptions. Items are always delivered quickly and are well packaged as you'd expect.

And in this particular instance clearly the team responsible for testing the gear to be able to give an accurate description did their jobs. I had previously bought the same item elsewhere and even though they have a good reputation I found that the auto focus system had issues once I started using it.. This was obviously not mentioned in the description. It cost me a few days in the turn around and potentially could have cost me a shoot.

That lead me to returning and buying this lens (Tamron 70-200 G2) and after two test sessions no problems whatsoever.

Great service and reliable as always. I've learnt that this is the only place I will buy from in future..

100% recommended.

AVOID at all costs

AVOID at all costs. They sold me a camera that was never delivered and won’t help or refund me the money. I’ve asked for proof of delivery and they can’t provide but think it’s my problem that they haven’t sent it out….. AVOID

Read this before you trade-in!

This is a revised review score. Before I accepted the trade-in quote, I went onto the MPB customer service/ chat line and asked if the items not included in the quote would be returned (unfortunately, the main point of CS contact for MPB is an AI portal). The items included 3 filters in excellent condition and two third-party batteries for my Nikon camera. The AI service confirmed that they will be returned. It even stated the return address ( I have the transcript as proof). After this communication, I accepted the quote. Last week, I contacted MPB as my items had not been returned. MPB informed me that my items will not be returned as they are no longer available. I have sent the AI transcript to prove I requested the return during the trade-in transaction. MPB have replied and offered me £10.00 against the value of an MPB purchase! I'm not sure which offends me more: the pitiful amount, or their ‘front’ for trying to monetise their own mistake. An unsatisfactory end, leaving me with a sour MPB trade-in experience and approximately £100.00 down from the loss of the items they did not return.

Trade-in damaged.

Trade-in damaged.

I sent mpb an item which had or showed no signs of defect upon packaging. Yet when I gave it to them, apparently they mysteriously found something wrong with the item? Not only that, I wasn't told this until waiting LONGER than than the expected 5-6 business days, up to nearly 10.

Brilliant from start to finish!

Wonderful

Was given this camera as i had been wanting a nice camera, well I could not find lenses for it anywhere so i brought it to a camera store near me and they said we cant take it, its too old, so I just put it in a bag! Saw an Ad for MPB will buy any camera so I gave it a shot, and was pleasantly suprised!!

Good experience and will use again if required.

This my first time using MPB and I found it to be an easy, seamless process with a good choice of products. The item I ordered arrived in a condition as described, my only concern was that the fit of the speed booster to my camera is very tight and takes some force to attach and remove it which makes me uneasy about possibly damaging my camera, I don't see this as a fault with the supplier. The carrier stated that I would get notice well in advance of the item being delivered, in the end it was delivered with only a couple of hours notice and I found the item left at my door on returning home had I known it was being delivered I would have made alternative arrangements for delivery.
This would not put me off using this company again if needed and I would recommend giving them a look.
