This is my second time purchasing a pre-owned, high quality camera lens on MPB. I bought a Fujifilm XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR lens. The lens was exactly as described in the listing and matched the photo. It was in perfect working order and good cosmetic condition. Buying used equipment on MPB has saved me money and it's also a sustainable practice.

My first time using MPB. Was looking for an as-new Sony RX10 IV as the model ceased production a couple of months earlier. The only one I could find that inspired confidence was at MPB so I went ahead and bought it. Price was higher than I had seen it previously when it was still in production but was reasonable. Product was delivered the next day in the condition stated in the online description. I am now happily using the camera on a daily basis while learning its complexities.

Bought a “secondhand lens” with 2 years warranty for less than half would it would’ve cost new, I recieved it, still sealed in original packaging this lens had literally never been used, it’s fabulous pin sharp best investment ever! When they say the refurbished like new they are not kidding! Will buy all my future gear off these guys they are the best!

What's not to like

I have dealt with MPB for over 10 years,buying pre owned,also some trade ins .Items exactly as described on pre owned (sometimes better).The warranties give peice of mind,I have never had to return any item at all. Fair prices on trade ins,never complained once. Postage of items always very well packed,and using DPD is a real bonus (forget the rest). Excellent company to deal with.Exemplary 👏

This was my first time buying from MPB

This was my first time buying from MPB, and I have to say — I’m very impressed.
I was initially a bit unsure about purchasing used camera gear online, but MPB made the entire experience smooth and reassuring.

Throughout my order journey — which included a trade-in, a change of mind, and later, another camera reservation — MPB handled everything professionally. Their communication was consistent, and the process was very transparent. Most recently, I noticed that the battery in my Nikon D7500 wasn't performing up to expectations, and I reached out for support.

That’s when Sam picked up my case — and I’m truly grateful he did. He responded promptly, was extremely helpful, and got a replacement battery arranged without any hassle. It’s rare to get that kind of quick and solution-focused customer service these days, especially when it comes to second-hand gear.

So, to sum it up — my first experience with MPB has been genuinely excellent. Great gear, fair pricing, and outstanding customer support. Special thanks to Sam for going the extra mile. I’ll absolutely be returning for future gear, and won’t hesitate to recommend MPB to fellow photographers.

Very Happy! Easy Peasy😃

First time I sold equipment online and very pleased with the process. Quick and fair quote. If you agree to the quote there are easy instructions on getting your gear ready for shipping. Can’t believe it took me so long to do this. One camera they received they said they adjusted my quote and gave me a bit more. After transaction was done you give them your bank info and the $$ goes directly into your account. Easy Peasy!! I’m 70 and dread these things but I had no problem at all, so much so that I sold them some more things!! 😃👌

This is the first time I have used MPB…

This is the first time I have used MPB to recycle my old camera and I can honestly say it was a pleasure doing business with them! On initial contact they estimated that my camera was worth £94 - which I would have been very happy with - but they actually paid me £104. I would definitely recommend them

Don't be fooled...

We came to sell an item to MPB and their website makes it sound very enticing, DON'T BE FOOLED! Once they have your items, paying for them becomes an absolute nightmare, excuses, delays, and a complete farce awaits, if they cannot get their act together they don't deserve to be in business.

A Great Experience

As a photographer I’ve been aware of, and used, MPB for equipment on several occasions. This was the first time I had used them when it came to selling old equipment. To be fair I wasn’t even aware they offered this service.

Entering the items I wanted to sell on their website was straightforward and I was happy with the prices they offered. I was even happier when they increased the offer from their original estimate.

Once I had accepted the offer and provided my bank details, payment was very quick.
