Just received a 28-300 Aspherical lens for my Nikon. As I'm on a tight buget this is perfect for what I want. Couldn't believe the price for what looks split new and not used as the advert stated. Couple of days delivery and very well packaged with lots of packing material. Couldn't recommend any higher folks. Check MPB first before anyone else imo.

Always a fantastic experience when dealing with MPB. Such a simple process to follow in order to sell or buy photography gear. Used them several times over the last few years with no issues whatsoever. My most recent dealings saw my initial offer, for the lens I was selling, increased once it had been inspected. How many other companies would be so fair and honest after receiving the goods you'd sent knowing you were happy to accept the original offer! I can't recommend MPB highly enough.

I’ve never received anything that wasn’t above expectations from MPB. And I do appreciate the military discount as well. Shipping is pricy for expedited delivery but when you pay for it you get it. Everything has always been on time or early.

Easy buying and selling

Easy process for buying and selling photography equipment. Found the new camera I was looking for and offset the price by selling some old equipment. Easy to use website and simple delivery / sending parcel service.

Lensswap

Was searching online for a better zoomlens for my D700. Found MPB and wanted to swap with my Nikon 70-300 mm vr lens. They offered a good price, good service (free shipping) and good communication. Swap with Sigma lens. Highly recommended.

Great Experience!

The whole process was painless. Their valuation methods are especially helpful. They originally quoted a price for my camera and several lenses which I accepted. When they received everything, they lowered the price on a couple of items, but also raised the prices on some. The shipping process was also great. Finally, I was paid quickly. I highly recommend MPB and will use them again.

i bought a lens for 1500 plus euro…

i bought a lens for 1500 plus euro supposedly in like new condition. i received something far away from that.
i contacted them 2 times to make a return. although in their terms and conditions it says they will provide a return label if they are at fault the refused to cooperate a respresentative named Mona.. also was absulutelly rude and threatening and left chat open and stop responding so i cant communicate with someone else.
i had to report this to ECC for scam as is.
and they will take legal action if needed.

Received camera but arrived with faulty…

Received camera but arrived with faulty battery. Needed camera for shoots but wont be able to get another battery in time needed. A lot of inconvenience. Other than that probably good, wasnt able to test equipment.

Great gear, great price, slightly longer delivery...

I got a bit worried when it took my stuff a few days to ship, (first time user) but, Mieme from the customer service team was patient, helpful and informative. When I got my items they were exactly as advertised and worked great. This combined with prices better than other used gear outlets made the extra few days wait well worth it.

Poor Service

A lack of transparency leads to poor quality service. Under normal circumstances, MPB deal with trades within a couple of days. When you book, there is no clear indication of the current turnaround times. When the kit arrived got an email to say it would be 5 - 6 days. A bit longer than expected but OK. The time went by and no information. I emailed MPB after 5 days just to see if they had an indication and was told that until it reached 6 days they wouldn't respond. Waited for 7 days and got no response. Emailed again at 8 days and got a response from Sam, who turned out to be helpful at keeping me informed, although never able to give any definite information. After 9 working days (which MPB go by), the trade was completed. MPB spend a lot of money on sponsoring YouTube creators but doesn't seem to be committing enough resources to deal with the inevitable influx of work. Not responding to customers doesn't help at all. I hope they can return to the previous levels of service but if you are considering a trade I would check the lead times first.

Very disappointing experience of…

Very disappointing experience of selling to them.If you buy from them you have a cooling off period of 14 days,sell to them and you don't even get an hours grace.I found them slow and completely intransigent in dealing with the issue leaving me significantly out of pocket.
